Untitled[edit]

Tampa Bay Water is a public utility that operates the largest seawater desalination plant in the United States. There are other pages on Wikipedia that are about the agency's facilities, such as the C.W. Bill Young Reservoir and the Desalination Plant. I believe the agency should be represented on Wikipedia as well. There are many publications that frequently mention the agency including: the Tampa Tribune, the St. Petersburg Times, The New York Times, and many other all over the nation.

Tampa Bay Water is a model for diversified water supply systems for other regions of the country that share the same challenges of water shortage. (Rbrandonmoore (talk) 20:32, 19 May 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Please read WP:SPAM, WP:NPOV and WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. You will also need some reliable sources. – ukexpat (talk) 20:30, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see the point of each of these concerns. Tampa Bay Water is a government agency. The souce of information is from the agency. The agency does not advertise as it is funded by water rates, and is a non-profit. There is not reason to advertise. (Rbrandonmoore (talk) 20:40, 19 May 2010 (UTC))[reply]

There is much more information I need to add, which I will do over the next few weeks. How do I get the box removed from the top of the page? Is this page now acceptable? (Rbrandonmoore (talk) 14:36, 20 May 2010 (UTC))[reply]

The maintenance templates should remain in place until the issues have been dealt with. I have changed the "no references" one to "ref improve".  – ukexpat (talk) 17:11, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I added nine more references. Can the maintenance templates by removed now? (24.73.165.225 (talk) 18:20, 24 May 2010 (UTC))[reply]
3-11 do not speak to notability, they just verify who these people are. Is there some press coverage of the organization that you can cite? – ukexpat (talk) 18:40, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added two sources from press coverage. As this article grows there will be more. One is from the Tampa Tribune and the other is from National Geographic. Is this sufficient enough to have the maintenance templates removed? (24.73.165.225 (talk) 21:02, 24 May 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Done and please make sure you are logged in when you edit! – ukexpat (talk) 21:24, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
