Copyvio[edit]

Links between the article and the website it apparently copies from are almost non-existent... GiantSnowman 17:18, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refer to Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2012 July 27 for an explanation of the apparent plagiarism. It's probably best to continue the discussion there. —Psychonaut (talk) 18:13, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article title[edit]

I was wondering why User:Widr moved this article from Talimeran Ao to Talimeren Ao. Is it because of the evidence provided by the (unsourced) passport scan at File:Talimeren Ao.jpg? If so, why was the page not moved to Talimeren Aao, since that is the spelling used on the passport? —Psychonaut (talk) 07:10, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved it back to TalimerAn Ao, as this is the spelling supported by FIFA.com database. Shovon (talk) 09:23, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
We need to determine which of the three attested spellings (Talimeran Ao, Talimeren Ao, or Talimeren Aao) to use for the article text and title. WP:TITLE is instructive here; it says that in general we should use the name most commonly used in reliable English-language sources. That may or may not be the one used by FIFA. —Psychonaut (talk) 09:28, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Talimeran Ao 4420 Ghits; Talimeren Ao 1780 Ghits; Talimeren Aao 173 Ghits. In books, it is 3 vs. 4. Evidently, Talimeran Ao is the most commonly used name. Shovon (talk) 09:39, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
