The London MEP Syed Kamall (European Conservative and Reformist group) has tabled 14 amendments that are identical to those tabled by Swedish MEP Olle Schmidt (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) or have the same result in the legislation and/or the same explanation text (ten identical and four almost identical ones). Removed "controversy section"[edit]

The content of the section was a comment that was given yesterday, and even though it was not very wise, its not good to fill up biographies of politicians with such content. I hardly think the article was in danger of being "filled up". No objection to it being removed, but not sure why it can't be mentioned, in an existing section, in a single line. To Martinevans123 & Giant: I not only agree that the comment from Kamall "show an incredible lack of understanding/ judgment", with his education he should be in a position to know better. But there is no end to politicians giving statements that are not appropriate or correct. If we are to record all of them, then we risk filling up biographies with irrelevant content. How much interest will this silly statement have for a reader in a year or two? If the answer is no, then I think it should be removed. Ulflarsen (talk) 13:48, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Remove last section in "Political career"[edit]

Please! Many, many things are wrong there.

For example: The sentence "Kamall was finally forced to apologize." is false. Kamall was not forced to apologize. See the video!
