Isn't An the better known name for this film, as evidenced in the poster in the infobox plus most of the references? AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 00:15, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well it was an undiscussed page move by a serial offender with a long term history of disruption in this area, as his lengthy block log shows. Maybe it's time for another block. Happy for it to be restored to the correct title. LugnutsDick Laurent is dead 07:34, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Athomeinkobe. English Wikipedia uses the title most common in the English-speaking world. WP:NCF. "Sweet Bean" is the international English title and most-used in the English-speaking world. This is uncontroversial and undisputed. Potentially controversial moves should absolutely be discussed first, but there doesn't appear to be anything to discuss here since the releases in the US, UK, etc. use the English title "Sweet Bean". Granted, Australia uses the title "An", but stacked up against the rest of the English-speaking world, it's no contest. I've updated the poster to theatrical release poster from pre-release (festival) poster. If you're unsatisfied with this, reply and I will happily move the title back to "An" (the Japanese title) and open a requested move, although I've recently been encouraged to avoid requested moves for such clear-cut cases. Cheers. — Film Fan 08:49, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your explanation and sorry for not getting back to you sooner. When I looked at the article most of the sources used the name An. But I see you've since added a "Title" section which explains the situation. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 02:42, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
