Name[edit]

The sources I can find think it's either Swartzia panacoco (ILDIS, GRIN, TROPICOS) or Robinia panacoco (IPNI). The chain of synonymy is a bit weak (it's connected via a third genus, Tounatea [1]), but the specific epithet matches the common name. Does anyone believe that it would be incorrect to move this to S. panacoco? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Takowl (talkcontribs) 18:48, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

S. panacoco seems correct. The IUCN Red List makes the synonymy explicit. The Plant List shows S. tomentosa as accepted, but this seems to be based on an underlying problem with how it harvests the other database that it uses as sources. Plantdrew (talk) 18:09, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
