Merge?[edit]

It looks like all the pages on sannyasins are titled "Swami xxx". So I do not support merging with Chidbhavananda. Moreover, Chidbhavananda is merely a redirect to this page! That's why I removed the merge proposal; looked like it had been settled. Devadaru (talk) 14:12, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Its against wikipedia's policy to add honorifics are tiltles to a person. Go through this Manual of Style policy before you revert. Even Mahatma Ghandi is referred as MK Ghandhi here. Wasifwasif (talk) 20:15, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wasif, please STOP your POV pushing and unilateral page moves. Refer to articles on Swami Vivekananda, Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Swami Sivananda, Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI etc. I am reverting your edits. In future, if you want to move a page, discuss it in the talk page first. Shovon (talk) 05:02, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Another act of pure vandalism. Swammi is part of the name one gets once they become a Swami, just like Thero in Sri Lanka. This is merely Wasif trying to create mischief on Hinduism related pages.Pectoretalk 14:59, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Swami Bhaskarananda Saraswati which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RM bot 12:31, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
