Publications[edit]

There are several more books and articles in both English and Japanese that can be added to the list. I'm assuming that we're not supposed to be adding absolutely everything, or are we? J Readings 08:46, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Several"? Meiosis indeed! There is what we technical types might term a shitload more stuff that can be added. The man had (co-) authored one hundred and twenty papers by the time his second (yes!) festschrift went to press, and that was in 1999 or 2000, when he showed no sign of slowing down. There's no rule against adding the lot, and indeed there is excellent precedent for doing so, but I'm not going to volunteer my services. -- Hoary 09:30, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bio?[edit]

I'd guess that the first festschrift might have a potted bio of the man. Unfortunately, "my" library doesn't have this book (which isn't presented by Google). -- Hoary 01:53, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
