Suryoyo Sat[edit]

Either this page gets deleted or the reference to the Assyrian/Syriac must be deleted. Suryoyo SAT is in no way connected to the "Assyrian People". Shame on you who does this. Suryoyo sat is an aramean (syriac) channel and they are in no way an assyrian channel. They always use the syriac flag [1]. And the channel is created by the Syriac (Aramean) associations and churches with the help of all the Syriac (Aramean) people. I repeat this is NOT an Assyrian channel, and it has nothing to do with Assyrians. Watch their homepage super POV-editor EliasAlucard, [www.suryoyosat.com]. The TriZ (talk) 12:15, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

True, unfortunately Mr EliasAlucard tries to portray everything and everyone Syriac as "Assyrian", and accuses of those editors who don't agree with him of being POV.
However, I think that Suroyo TV deserves to be mentioned, since both channels target the Syriacs/Sur(y)oye, be it that one of them is Aramaean-minded, and the other Assyrian-minded. --Benne ['bɛnə] (talk) 12:56, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Mr. objective NPOV user, TriZ, this article, whether you like it or not, is part of the Assyrian people. Your personal POV war against the Assyrian people – your own people – has no place on Wikipedia. — EliasAlucard (Discussion · contribs) 18:48, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article has nothing to do with any assyrians. The TriZ (talk) 23:03, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly, it should be part of a Syriacs or Suryoye project. "Assyrian" should refer only to those Syriacs who believe they are Assyrians (which is their right of course), and to members of the Church of the East. In the end, Assyrians are only part of the Suryoye population. --Benne ['bɛnə] (talk) 08:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stream[edit]

www.suryoyo.nl/STV/ this site is streaming the channel and also Suroyo TV. And through these streams, people from example the US can watch the channel. The TriZ (talk) 00:30, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And how does this prove people around the world watch it? Chaldean (talk) 05:17, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't, I just wanted to show that people outside the "hotbird" area can watch the channel to. Please stop editing the article about this until someone can provide sources. The TriZ (talk) 11:58, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chcoc (talk · contribs) is insisting on destroying this page. The article is sourced with a fully reliable source but this user insists on removing this source (LT - Länstidningen, a Swedish daily newspaper). The TriZ (talk) 19:04, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Those are both dead links that lead to a 404 error. This channel is not broadcast worldwide as its own site states and as the satellite company confirms. --Chcoc (talk) 21:48, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
