Unsourced claim about Lutold von Sumiswald[edit]

None of the sources in this article support the claim that Lutold von Sumiswald from Germany founded the town. He was the last member of the von Sumiswald family and donated the castle to the Teutonic Knights. No mention is made that he was from Germany or founded the town. In fact there are family members in the historical record over a century before Lutold. According to the municipal website it was the Teutonic Knights that sold Sumiswald to Bern in 1698, not Jacob Sebastian Sumiswald. Any facts that are added need to have sources attached to them.Tobyc75 (talk) 14:50, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
