Notability[edit]

Kadam fails the sport-specific guidelines, which says that Paralympians are presumed notable if they've won a Paralympic Games medal. Which he hasn't, so far as I can see. As well as not appearing to meet our general notability guidelines either. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:50, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know much about the type of medal you are talking about. Here is a source that says, He won all the matches en-route to a Gold medal finish a few months at the 2018 Para-Badminton Spanish International Championships. Currently gearing up for the Asian Games, the Pune-based athlete has miles to go and dreams to achieve!. Is this the type of medal that WP:NOLYMPICS talks about? @SharabSalam: Hi Sukant Kadam was world number 2 athlete of Para-Badminton also won medals in all prestigious tournament of Badminton World Federation. Para-badminton will also feature at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, together with taekwondo which is also added to the Paralympic program.[1] He won * 2019 – bronze medal at the BWF Para Badminton World Championships

  • What I was referring to was the sentences "Athletes from any sport are presumed notable if they have competed at the modern Olympic Games, including the Summer Olympics (since 1896) or the Winter Olympics (since 1924), or have won a medal at the Paralympic Games" (emphasis on the important bit for this article). This doesn't apply in this case, since you haven't competed at a Paralympic Games Joseph2302 (talk) 15:38, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
