Buildings[edit]

There should be a description of which buildings the school took over from the military, and which it built - who they are named for.Parkwells (talk) 19:27, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Storer College[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Storer College's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Anderson":

  • From John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry: Anderson, Osborne P. (1861). A voice from Harper's Ferry : a narrative of events at Harper's Ferry : with incidents prior and subsequent to its capture by Captain Brown and his men. Boston: The author.
  • From Shields Green: Anderson, Osborne P. (1861). A Voice from Harper's Ferry; with incidents prior and subsequent to its capture by Captain Brown and his men. Boston: The author.
  • From African Americans: Harris, Samantha (January 25, 2007). "Stepping into controversy: Some fraternity members fear film 'Stomp the Yard' portrays them as glamorized dance group, trivializes traditions". The Anderson Independent-Mail. Anderson, South Carolina. Archived from the original on June 29, 2011. Retrieved January 11, 2011.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:13, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Images requested[edit]

1. A picture showing the 1928 tablet.
2. Close-ups so the lettering on each side of Soldier's Gate can be read.
3. Soldiers Gate, but showing adjacent buildings within the gate. From the gate the camera turned slightly right.

Photos[edit]

I uploaded three photos from 1878-1890. I'm not sure if they're needed since the article already has a lot of images, but here they are if needed:
