Cantril Farm and Stockbridge Village[edit]

They are stated to be the same place, just two different names, so I don't see the need for two separate articles WikiGull 19:41, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Having grown up in Cantril Farm for the first 18 years of my life, I can inform you that they are two separate places. They used to be one and the same when they both fell under the name Cantril Farm, however, when Knowsley Borough was created only (approx.) half of the estate became Stockbridge Village. The part that still falls under Liverpool City Council has always remained Cantril Farm.

I hope this clears up any confusion. =)

I think the page title should be changed to Cantril Farm Housing Estate. Cantril Farm existed before the housing estate was built and bordered on the area between Mab Lane and Princess Drive.
I write this as somebody who lived in Barons Hey from 1966 - 1974.

Despite the above arguments, there was no separate content in the two articles. I therefore merged them.
Were the photos taken when it was known as Cantril Farm? If so, please change the captions. - Fayenatic (talk) 18:52, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The captions of the pictures should be changed. Especially as Corner Brook is is in the part still known as Catril Farm

I also think if the two pages should be merged then the page should be entitled Cantil Farm and Stockbridge Village. Bacause they *are* two different places, owned by separate councils ie Liverpool and Knowsley —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wylde.flowerz (talkcontribs) 17:25, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
