Hi there, thanks for discussing. Still unsure, have replaced tag. I take your point about the Soc of Ant and have looked at their article. Still unsure about whether this is enough for point three though. The soc has 3,000 members so would that be "reserved as a highly selective honour"? I could find very little coverage of him except for book reviews, and some of the biog sources linked are primary. The R Allen Brown trust does not appear to be notable itself. Think you need to look again - Society of Antiquities is a highly regarded organisation (created by Royal Charter) which all members can only be elected by current members which meets 3. of Wp:Academic - that it has 3000 members is not an issue as the Fellowship membership of the IEEE which is placed as an example on the WP:NACADEMIC page has 4215 members at this level!. Also WP:Author says they have to be 5c. Significant critical attention - FT Books of the Year list is quite significant as well as it being used by other academics in their writings for quotations, as well as Professor Church being recognised as one on the UK's leading experts on King John (which has been identified in at least two indepdent references here). In addition Christopher Harper-Bill is already accepted as a notable academic of medieval history, who was a member of the Society of Antiquities and whose references are even less conclusive that he was notable!.2A02:C7D:C5F6:2700:2C74:6281:E05F:6EE (talk) 12:10, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
