Behavioral Ecology Peer Review[edit]

I have reviewed the article and made edits to correct grammar, syntax, and punctuation errors. I rearranged sentences to make them more reader-friendly. I also added hyperlinks for topics that would further facilitate the understanding of the readers. Overall, concise and informative writing. I would suggest looking for more images to add, although I personally was not able to find any on Wikimedia Commons. Dyklee (talk) 23:42, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Behavioral Ecology Peer Review[edit]

Hello! I thought this article to be a very comprehensive article. The lead section is a bit brief so I would expand more with a brief introduction of their anatomy and population structure that is further explained in the respective sections. I fixed a few grammatical details and removed a few unnecessary words to allow more concise and effective language for the audience. For instance, I shortened run-on sentences and changed phrases like "because of this" to "accordingly." I also added hyperlinks to terms that could be further explored such as "velvet spider," "cribellum," and "social spider." I would recommend finding and adding more information on the sexual ratio skew towards females in the Population Structure section. I also thought disperal could be a sub heading for a more expansive header such as home range and territoriality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidcho122 (talkcontribs) 04:04, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Perna’s Wikipedia page on Stegodyphus sarasinorum had many informative sections, particularly headers on the mating, social behavior, and protective behavior. I changed the header “Physical characteristics” to “Description” since that was the header used in the outline. I also added external links like for concepts like “spinneret” and “speciation”, since they are not commonly known terms. Furthermore, I added a sub-header under the webs section to divide it by the topics that were introduced. I removed phrases that gave opinions like “another intriguing aspect of these spiders”. Finally, I moved around some phrases to make more chronological sense. contribs) 23:18, 3 December 2020 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Delanieludmir (talkcontribs)
