Do we need a separate article on this?[edit]

Having bought the game today (and I consider Star Fox 64 as the best game in the franchise), do we really need a separate article on this, given that this is basically a port of the N64 version? I mean, nearly all the sections contain "see alsos" to the corresponding Star Fox 64 article, which leads me to question the need for a separate article for the 3DS game. –MuZemike 06:51, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm thinking about the same. This can easily be summed up in a paragraph in the main article. Axem Titanium (talk) 00:29, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Almost a year after the original question) SF64 3D has enough significant differences from the original version to warrant its own article, IMO. It isn't just a port, it's a remake with a major overhaul of several major pieces (most notably the multiplayer component and the graphics in general). — KieferSkunk (talk) — 06:06, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Also worth noting that its reception is mostly separate from that of the original title.) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 06:07, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

SIDEBAR: Satomi Terui being listed as composer on this is very misleading. Although she did contribute some original work to the multiplayer mode, she was largely in charge of converting the N64 tunes to the 3DS. So she should be listed as the third composer. Koji Kondo and Hajime Wakai should be listed here as first and second composer (although Wakai is responsible for most of the music in the score). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.14.241.253 (talk) 20:26, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why precisely is this article in Category:Free, open source shooter games? I can't seen find any reference that it's open source (or even free). --EoD (talk) 13:45, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it from that as well as Category:Free first-person shooters, as it is absolutely neither free nor open source. dririan (talk) 06:10, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I checked out the differences, and they seem to be cosmetic. The text is all still there at the current page, as are the images and final score(s). The only thing that's changed is the page layout and appearance. Looks like a site remodel happened. Dogman15 (talk) 17:46, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
