Does anyone know?[edit]

* Does anyone know where the bodies that were exhumed from the Church vaults went?

Seven monks were reburied at Ampleforth Abbey in 2004. The remaining 15 bodies (14 lay people and that of Fr McDonald, O.S.B.) were all reburied at Ford Cemetery in Liverpool. It was not possible (due to time constraints and lack of clear labelling) to identify the body/coffin belonging to Fr McDonald, and so he did not continue to Ampleforth Abbey like his companion monks.

* Does anyone know any major historical events between the 1920's and the 1980's?'''''''

There are still large gaps in the history, though the pages have been updated ...

* Does anyone know where the art/pictures/pieta went? What about the grand picture of St Peter which was above the Altar? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dom1708 (talkcontribs) 17:49, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A section addressing these questions has now been added. The picture is in Liverpool RC Cathedral, and statues are elsewhere. Details in the main article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dom1708 (talkcontribs) 18:46, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge[edit]

I propose merging the Alma de Cuba article into this article. Alma de Cuba is only really notable because of its location, i.e. the church. I don't think it deserves its own article, and all of the information about it can comforably be accomodated here. Bazonka (talk) 18:33, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge done. Bazonka (talk) 15:37, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

the place today[edit]

I would give an unkind review of this place if I did give one, the second photo is not at all like the place, it is dark and murky inside. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ur-loki (talkcontribs) 08:49, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Go and take a new photo then. Bazonka (talk) 11:26, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
