Propose we add a link to the missing "St. Augustine's Church, Slade Green, London, UK"[edit]

An article exists at St. Augustine's Church, Slade Green and the link appears red because its a draft waiting for editor sign-off. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.48.188.37 (talk) 18:42, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Less commonly?[edit]

Are there any statistics which would support the assertion that more churches are dedicated to Augustine of Canterbury than are dedicated to Augustine of Hippo? This might be the case within the English-speaking world (though even there I suspect it would be closer to 50-50 or slightly more for Mr. Hippo), but worldwide I would bet that more churches are dedicated to the well-known author and patristic Church Father.--Bhuck 13:30, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How 'Olde'?[edit]

I'm updating the name for the St. Augustine Church, Philadelphia. I emailed (see below) the priest at "Olde St. Augustine Church, Philadelphia". He requested that the page be named just "St. Augustine Church, Philadelphia".

Traditionally the church was called Old St. Augustine. As the pastor I dropped the Old and just refer to the church by its original name which is St. Augustine --not Augustine's --the church is named after St. Augustine but it is not the property of St. Augustine therefor I drop the 's.
