I've removed a footnote, claiming "Today Styrvolt means a blank (i.e. worthless) playing card in Danish.". This is not a valid claim. In fact, according to the official dictionary over the danish language[1], styrvolt means an unruly (young) person. If we look at the historical dictionary over the danish language[2], spanning 1700-1950, it did indeed use to have the meaning of lower valued cards. So while the author of the footnote may be using an archaic term in its social circles, it is not correct to claim it to be the current usage in the danish language. 2A06:4003:21B7:0:E12A:3D31:48D5:BF84 (talk) 10:10, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for spotting that. Why don't you go ahead and add a new footnote summarising your findings above. :) Bermicourt (talk) 19:17, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
