Dail constituencies detail[edit]

There is an enormous amount of detail in the tables on Dail constituencies. These constituencies straddle the County. They are not integral or coterminous with the County. While the information is interesting, it needs to be in a section by itself otherwise it detracts from what is wholly proper and integral to the County. The tables should be removed from the "Polling" section IMHO. Laurel Lodged (talk) 18:03, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is understood that the constituencies straddle the county and are not integral or coterminous with it; it is not claimed otherwise. Nevertheless, it is valid to say, as the county council website says in presenting the general election results for 2011, "The results for the four Dail constituencies that are within the South Dublin County area can be viewed here" (my italics). — O'Dea (talk) 03:15, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Polling scheme[edit]

The info contained in the polling scheme is useful but probably of marginal interest. I am simply collapsing the table, so with one click any interested reader can view it. The information is still there, it has not been deleted ot removed, and this is standard practice with long tables or infoboxes. I note that the table itself already hides the Electoral Division info. Snappy (talk) 13:41, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
