Minor Edits[edit]

This is a great article. There are some minor inaccuracies. The "Comunidad de Orgullo Gay" (an organization) is what led to the creation of a community center. That is not clear in the article right now. Frances Negrón-Muntaner has written about the history of the COG in CENTRO Journal. So has Javier Laureano in his book San Juan Gay. The title of the journal where the article by La Fountain-Stokes, Lawrence (2018). "Being Mala Mala: Documentary Film and the Cultural Politics of Puerto Rican Drag and Trans Identities" appeared is Caribbean Studies. I am not sure Santiago lived in the U.S. for over ten years; I believe it was only several months. (This information is available in her memoir Hecha a mano.) I believe she travelled from Puerto Rico to the U.S. for her surgery in 1975.--Lawrlafo (talk) 02:23, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
