Fair use rationale for Image:Smashes Thrashes cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Smashes Thrashes cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:34, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Worst Sentence Ever Written on Wikipedia[edit]

Can anyone make sense of this "In the United States Smashes, Thrashes & Hits is the best selling Kiss album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking record sales in 1991 with 810,000 copies sold since 2007." First of all, too many dates to keep track of. OK...Soundscan began tracking in 91....got it. Since 2007, this has sold 810,000? What happened between 91 - 07? How many copies were sold in that time period? Why weren't they tracking during that period? The album came out in 88. How many copies were sold between 88 - 91 (or 88 - 07 for that matter)? Finally, the reference was cited in 07 (or possibly 2012)...seeing as how it is now 2019, I'm here to tell you that they've sold more. I've seen this CD in the $5 bin at the local Wal-Mart. I recommend taking down this worthless bit o'trivia. Cheers! FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 21:14, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fourth, not third[edit]

This is FALSE "It was the third hits album overall but the second album released by the band in the United States (Killers was not released there originally)." Scroll to the bottom of the page, under "Compilations", it clearly states "Double Platinum, Killers, Chikara, Smashes, Thrashes & Hits". Cheers! Going to fix this now.
