Effeminate fellow and chair of curved rod[edit]

The Sleeper Awakes[edit]

The only real element of the book in this film is the long sleep. I would suggest "inspired by" rather than "loosley based on".

Summary[edit]

Could someone update the 'plot' of the movie, to a 'Summary' of the film. Things like the personal helicopter and other moments like that aren't mentioned, and many of the plot twists are also missing. I've seen the movie once, and remember there being lots more to the story then just this rough outline of what happened. Jackie Mason[edit]

This source says: "Fun trivia: As silly as the film can be, Allen took science-fiction seriously, meeting with genre giants like Isaac Asimov and Ben Bova beforehand — and including a "2001" nod by having the same actor who voiced HAL, Douglas Rain, provide the voice of his film's evil computer.
