I agree with Phil Crystal.

It does NOT make sense to me to dump the TV series and movie all under the manga article. Many of my friends are huge Skyhigh TV series fans, and the movie is distributed here in the US. And people know Yumiko!! More people know about the show and Yumiko Shaku as "Izuko" than they do the manga. (I've never read the manga--I would have to search where to buy it if I wanted too. But I've got the DVDs!) It's the show that brought some attention to the manga, not the other way around in this case. If you're going to have a merger, then merge the manga under the series, not the series under the manga. The manga is the source material, so it's certainly worth a mention. But keep the page on the TV show and the movie!

Phil made a good point: You probably wouldn't merge the FOX TV series "Bones" with the article on the original novel. I've never read it, but I love David B!--I watch that show every week. The show is popular! It should be linked to the source material (the novel), but you wouldn't eliminate the article about the TV series--it's too huge! Same thing with Skyhigh.

Just my opinion! What do you think?

Compromise?[edit]

I removed the merge tag to the manga, but added a merge suggestion for a merger between the series and the movie. I still think they should remain separate, but if there was going to be a merger, it should be between the movie and its "sister" TV series, because there is a connection between the two. The manga?--not so much (other than the basic concept).

Still I would suggest continuing to build the three articles separately (because it's three completely different audiences) and use links in between where appropriate to show the connections and source material.
