Jabiru engine[edit]

I have conversed with the CEO of skyreach and he informs me that only 3 or 4 Cheetahs were fitted with this engine but never any bushcats. The FAA May have approved that engine for the Bushcat but as far as can be determined none have been fitted. Failing any evidence to the contrary it would probably be best to remove the reference to jabiru engines being fitted to bushcats Danny galaga (talk) 11:43, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

brake location[edit]

Not sure what the best way is to reference the brake lever, but you can see it here:

I have test flown the Bushcat which is when I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had gone to conventional toe brakes. I will see if I took a photo of the toe brakes. I do not own the rights to the above but I guess they would suffice as a reference?

Forums and photos are not reliable sources, as it is possible that builders just modified the aircraft instead of changes to the kit. Overall, since Wikipedia is a general encyclopedia and not Janes or even KitPlanes, the location of the brake handle really is a trivial detail. - Ahunt (talk) 11:30, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Actually one of your own references shows the joystick mounted brake lever:

They haven't updated their website yet but the current model has toe brakes instead of the lever. I mentioned the joystick mounted brake because that was a point of interest. Like the ceiling mounted flap lever, which somehow isn't a trivial detail. What is a trivial detail is the FAA approval of a Jabiru motor. Since no Bushcat uses it, and the chances of one ever having one are as likely as any other alternative that someone might install in a modified kit (Honda Viking, D motor etc) then since you seem to have assigned a magical word count to this page, perhaps we could remove the Jabiru point and replace it with the more relevant information. Thus maintaining the balance of the universe.

It's not like I'm trying to claim that no one landed on the moon or anything. Just adding some information that you can't just google but is in fact the case.

I will also find my receipt for the kit and update the price of the kit since the entry is a few years old. Please don't vandalise that as well.

Requiring sources to add information is not vandalism, it is Wikipedia policy. You need to read WP:AGF and WP:NPA. Information in Wikipedia articles is not based on WP:THETRUTH, it is based on verfiability.
