Denver Silverliner V Order[edit]

I'm going to expand this page to cover the 66 odd Silverliner V EMU's purchased for Denver's new commuter rail system. They are effectivly the same equipment with a few changes in the same way the PRR and LIRR both used MP54s and MNRR and LIRR both use M7's.Sturmovik (talk) 23:06, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Electromagnetic interference[edit]

I am not familiar with the subject, but this seems relevant, and sourced. What is the issue? — MusikAnimal talk 23:24, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

For years SEPTA had been an entirely DC traction operation. The SL-V's are AC traction and the propulsion inverters began to generate interference with some audio equipment of people who lived near the tracks. It's not really an SL-V issue, but it came up because people in Philly weren't used to it. I'd change the section into a line in an existing section.Sturmovik (talk) 17:27, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
