Fascist link

The first article given, "Christ's Men in Silver Raiments", is a link to a fascist site of some description; some talk about "red-tinged journalists" and other apologies for fascism. Might want to be very careful about allowing this without some kind of notice that this may not be appropriate. - 68.55.36.120 05:59, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

This article is short enough as it is... why remove stuff?

There are mistakes

In general, this article is lacking on some serious information. For one, the Silver Legion uniform DID NOT consist "of a cap identical to those worn by German Stormtroopers" but did consist of a campaign hat worn by american military at that time.

"Neo" Nazi

I removed the "see also" Neo-Nazism in the US" as this group was concurrent with the Nazis.

I added "Authoritarianism" instead.

I would understand a "see also" link to "Radicalism in the US", "Fascism in the US", " National Socialism in the US", "Extremism in the US" but all of those terms are so loaded currently.

feel free to revert, see the obvious practical connection, but "neo" infers "post or "after".

after stories of the demolition of their compound's ruins appeared in RS, the wiki-map site added some tagged location images. they've been in this article for a while but have been recently removed. for historical use, the removed photos section was:

Didn't take money from Nazi Germany

I removed the part which stated that Silver Shirts received "German Nazi" money for their compound; they never received funds from the Germans. I query the line "By 1934, the Silver Shirts had about 15,000 members.[3] Circa 1935 with Nazi German funding and Hollywood funding" The linked article is about a property in Los Angeles owned at the time by a mining heiress. Most people would understand 'Hollywood funding' to refer to money derived from the film industry but no evidence for that is presented.
