Swastika[edit]

Should it be mentioned that only in the UK pressing of the album, that the swastika on the label appears, everywhere else in europe, usa etc it was removed.

Credits?[edit]

Somebody has changed the credits: Paul Cook and Steve Jones playing on "Chinese Rocks"... and nobody on bass? Nope. The Pistols did play Chinese Rocks, but the recording on "Sid Sings" is from Max' Kansas. The "Yeah-yeah-yeah" guy is unmistakeable. Juryen 21:45, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • When did the Pistols play "Chinese Rocks"? Moreover, where's the info about the Pistols playing "Born to Lose" in Huddersfield? As far as I know, the Huddersfield track listing is "God Save the Queen", "I Wanna Be Me", "Seventeen", "New York", "EMI", "Belsen Was A Gas", "Bodies", "Holidays In The Sun", "No Feelings", "Problems", "Pretty Vacant", "Anarchy In The UK", "No Fun", "Liar", "Belsen Was a Gas (2nd Time)", "Submission" and "God Save the Queen (2nd Time)". There's no "Born to Lose" in there. Could someone come up with the goods? 82.181.201.82 (talk) 16:21, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I found references and stuff. It seems it really is Jones, Cook and Vicious on the first track. And yeah, it is from Huddersfield. Further yeah, they played "Chinese Rocks" as well. Sources seem to differ if the Trio Pistols played more than those two songs, although pretty much all agree the two were included in their painfully short set. (I know I should log in before commenting but I can't be bothered. Because I don't care.) 82.181.201.82 (talk) 04:59, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vocal on My Way[edit]

The vocal take on "My Way" is the same as the one on "The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle" it's only Steve Jones' guitar and the other overdubs that are different.

  • sorry, i was the one who changed the personel credits regardign chinese rocks. I looked it up and the former credits were right. The Sex Pistols did play chinese rocks at Huddersfield, but the versoin on the album is actually from the Max's Kansas gig.

As far as to any information I could/can find regarding the Pistols Huddersfield gigs (there were two on the same day), the band did not play neither "Chinese Rocks" nor "Born to Lose". 82.181.201.82 (talk) 18:52, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Correcting myself (the above); it actually is the Trio Pistols. It's from the earlier kids show, though. 82.181.201.82 (talk) 05:00, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Search & Destroy[edit]

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but i couldn't find it anywhere. What exactly is Search & Destroy? is it just a CD version of "sid sings"? because the "yeah-yeah-yeah" dude on it. cheers —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doomie333 (talkcontribs) 19:51, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All Music Guide rating[edit]

Someone changed the review rating of All Music Guide from 2,5 to 4,5. You should know that it isn't your thoughts and rating that counts! It's the site that the rating is linked to!

Anyway, I changed it back to 2,5 which is the correct one. So I guess everyone's happy now.
