Changing Shin Hye Sun into Shin Hae Sun[edit]

It has been an ongoing debate on how to properly address actress Shin Hae Sun. Her name when literally romanized translates to "Hye" and she is often credited and cited as #ShinHyeSun by the mainstream media such as soompi, allkpop and whatsoever. However, the actress chose her official English name as Shin Hae Sun. To prove this, her agency promotes her in the name of Shin Hae Sun as seen in their official website. She also writes her autograph as "Shaesun" and furthermore, to make it even more official, the actress herself also updated her Instagram bio @[[User:Shinhs831)]with the name Shin Hae Sun on it. In line with this, the purpose of this topic is to reach a consensus that may urge editors of this platform to rectify and reach a resolution that will officially change her name into Shin Hae Sun, the name she chose and the name she wishes to be addressed and credited as. It may take some time to change little by little but hoping that soon she may be unanimously recognized and honored by the name she chose. Eeicarg (talk) 13:18, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Eeicarg You don't do so by editing disruptively as evidenced in the revision's history, and also edit warring and personal attacks against an admin (bad choice; you're lucky that you are not blocked). In addition, you also don't so by changing the content only, and leaving the title as it is, both goes together. If you want the proposed changes to be made, open up a RM discussion (a process that takes at least 1 week minimum) by following the instructions at WP:RSPM, and also provide independent secondary reliable sources in the rationale as evidence that whatever that you're proposing is indeed a WP:COMMONNAME. And fyi, "soompi, allkpop" falls under WP:KO/RS#UR hence these are considered as unreliable sources. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:22, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well that was because I was new, didn't even knew how to change the title and fyi i know it goes together, I just don't know enough how to do it. I'm not the only one to attempted to edit, if you wouldve told us what to do in the beginning, I would've known how to properly do it. That's why I'm in the talk page, aren't I? And another fyi, I didnt say soompi and allkpop are reliable sources, I said they are mainstream media so naturally people will believe what they say. How can cite them as reliable when they can't even get Shin Hae Sun's name right, right? Eeicarg (talk) 13:36, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
and for the repetitve editing. That was on me, I thought there weren't real people behind the first reply and admittedly not smart enough and thought it was AI or something. Eeicarg (talk) 13:40, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Eeicarg I'm not sure what you mean by "told us". If you're editing as a team and/or a collective coordinated individuals, do note that WP:TAGTEAM forbide such. And fyi, if you happened to open up a RM discussion, do note that WP:CANVASsing won't be tolerated.
(edit conflict) To addon, your failure to received any replies (from me) on your talk page is due to you not WP:PINGing me hence I didn't received any notification. I won't expect you to know as a newly user here, and just an information. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:41, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
