Hasn't SC already been introduced in Northern Ireland due to the refusal of some Nationalist members of the "profession" declining to be known as QC?

Senior counselSenior Counsel – The office is used with both words capitalised. Senior Counsel should not be in lowercase when it is used for the actual title (e.g. "Senior Counsel for Victoria"). When used in lowercase it refers to a senior barrister more generally. The Queen's Counsel article is capitalised for both words and this one should be consistent. • Oppose. This is a generic term, not the name of a specific office. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:13, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment - you are wrong. You are appointed as "Senior Counsel" (both capitalised). The generic term has a different meaning which this article does not refer to. Bookscale (talk) 09:36, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose – it's possible, but I can't find support among the article's sources, or in usage stats. If there's a better case to be made I'll consider it. Dicklyon (talk) 03:46, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
