Administrative Roles at Virginia Wesleyan University[edit]

User:Nomadicghumakkad, User:Locomotive207, User:Theroadislong - I hadn't noticed the paid tag when I accepted. I probably would have left it alone if I had seen that. However, the subject does satisfy notability, so it really should have been accepted. I have trimmed a considerable amount of detail that either was peacockery or just was intended to make the subject look like he was on the Side of Good, and another once-over to see if there is more puffery might be helpful. Thanks for great work on this Robert McClenon. Happy that you were able to invest time to work on this and take to main space. I agree that the notable topics should be in mainsapce - whatever the background is. I think the idea of putting tag is to just warn others to be extra careful and not assume good faith at once; and just be more vigil. I still have problems with things like He and his wife, Annie Miller, have two daughters and four grandchildren. Neither such things are sourced nor I find them encyclopediac (unless we are talking about royals, industrialists etc who are survived by heirs). This read like author bio at the flap of the book and I don't find them suitable. Very much open to have different views and change my opinion. Hello Nomadicghumakkad. I understand some of what you mention, however, while creating this article, I was only using other approved pages as examples, case in point John R. Broderick. In his bio it also includes information about his family. If you would like to know where to find Dr. Miller's family information I will gladly share that link, though I never thought his marriage and children would be questioned. User:Akscripter - Do not use other "approved" pages as a guide for what is acceptable. Some of them should also be either deleted or trimmed. Just because you got your article accepted this time this time doesn't mean that you will get an article on a dean or on a consortium of universities. The issue isn't really that we have any issue with including Miller's family. It really is that we do have an issue with paid editors, who are tolerated if they declare, as you did only after being pushed, but we distrust paid editors because they are not being paid to maintain neutral point of view. I think I am already exhausted asking people to read WP:OTHER but this never gets old! About having family or not - that's my person opinion and not a stand of Wiki guidelines.
