Disambiguation vs Article[edit]

I wrote a modest but accurate stub on Scapa (the settlement) a few days again that seems to have been reverted.

Given that Scapa is an actual place, I figured this would be more appropriate than to NOT have an article. The other items in the original disambiguation page were linked.

Because you overwrote the disambiguation which has a substantial edit history. Suggest that you write new article at Scapa, Orkney, they propose a requested move discussion to establish consensus to move the current disambiguation to Scapa (disambiguation) and move the place to Scapa. older ≠ wiser 11:34, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
