Bias

While I don't know the truth of the charges, alot of the "criticism" section is written in a very biased, accusatory (scolding?) tone of voice. While I appreciate crap ISPs (Having dealt with them), I don't agree to reprimanding them on WpA pages. 68.39.174.238 10:30, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

although it may seem to be biased, living in saudi arabia and having requested DSL 8 months ago and still not received it, i think it is fair to say that the criticism is not biased, in fact, i am in the help desk of one of the saudi ISP's and STC is having connection problems with one of their international links (1 of 5 i think) and we're getting flooded with phone calls, so i believe that it is relatively fair that they are criticized like this —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.11.191.17 (talk • contribs)

No one but those actually living in Saudi Arabia will know how hated this company is, believe me. Internet here is miserable and dispiriting, but to be fair the section does use a biased tone and is completely unreferenced. It should be fully cited and rewritten to be NPOV. Please read before editing

Looks like this unusual activity in this article talk page is caused by some sort of forum or discussion board attack. Will anyone who adds messages here please remember that this is an encyclopedia, not a discussion board. We know STC is the most unfair company in, probably, the world, but that doesn't mean its article has to be a portal for personal attacks. That doesn't also mean we can not have a "Criticisms" section. We can, but it is only acceptable to add information that is cited from reliable, non-trivial sources. Please refrain from adding unsourced POV information or comments to the article, that is considered vandalism and any text added will be deleted immediately. Instead of vandalizing, you can contribute by providing any reliable sources, i.e. news sources or the like, ,for the information in the "Criticisms" section. Also, please sign your comments people. Hello every body. Actually I am waiting for the DSL from more than one year and half .. You can imagin that I am paying more than 600SR per 2 months for the dial-up service. I am living in the most modern town in abha city, And tha DSL service is not available here yet .. They are always giving me appointement, But it's all lies .. When I requested the service they said it will take less than 3 months only . After the 3 months : They said in the middle of 2006 and I didn't see anything . They said exactly before 30 September 2006 and I didn't see anything . They said after "aide alfitr" which was at 23 October 2006 and I didn't see any thing . Finally, They said at the middle of 2007 and I hope that I will use what they call DSL befor I die ..

Basically the article is the truth. The article is the exact situation and what is this company doing now and the DSL services is the worst around The problem is the company is trying to hide this truth and they pay alote of money to the newspaper by ads and aother things to stop any one to write the the truth The problem is they offer a very poor DSL service and the cost is toooooo high The dialup I will give some thing If u using the dial up for 4 hrs every day the means 20 riyals For one month 600 riyals that around 170 $ can u belief that The price for 1 mg spead dsl cost 700+150 = 850riyals around 210$ This is the prices and the services her Poor service and very expensive —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.109.233.93 (talk • contribs)

Hi,I think that one of the reasons for the underdevelopment of the company from the rest of the companies is poor infrastructure, which are owned. No one lived between 1998 until 2006 does require evidence to determine the prices, dear Anas You live in Riyadh and must known the truth, and I am pleased to confirm to you and to the encyclopedia reader the validity of the facts that page contained. There was a site that has included all official documents, but was blocked by the company after threat. Anyhow I gree the page should supported by reliable source. I understand, but that's just not the way this encyclopedia works. There should be no original research in any article. If you can provide any sources from third-party sources, like articles in newspapers like Al-Riyadh, Al-Jazira, etc. that would be a great help. Could you tell me what site is that? There are hundreds of news reports and articles in newspapers, but all affected by the feelings of its writers, and to NPOV I didn't add these links. As you can see the article has been supported by 2 new external links, " STC statment Press after launching higher speed " and " STC dialup price page ", I am currently looking for the minister statment to the Shura Council on the level of communications service. And the truth I don't remember that site But I do recall that I saw confidential documents published, and within a week it totally shut down.3G 23:36, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

STC hates

i wanna know guys about what i heard that your planning to have a subcontractor? what will happen to your current employees most of those who are pioneers? do they have chance to be assume with the subcontractor?
