Name change (Saturnaliidae) proposal[edit]

When Ezcurra created Saturnaliinae, it was common to see Guaibasaurus as a basal sauropodomorph close to [[1]] and skin, forming Guaibasauridae. However, in recent years, Guaibasaurus has not been recovered close to Saturnalia anymore, instead it was recovered as a more advanced sauropodomorph close to Macrocollum and Unaysaurus in recent cladistic analyses and on a recent review of early dinosaurs of South America. Once Saturnaliinae needs to be within Guaibasauridae to make sense (as it is a subfamily), Langer et al. transformed the clade name into Saturnaliidae, which is more appropriate. So, my proposal is to change the page name to Saturnaliidae, to reflect this. --Maurissauro (talk) 00:45, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
