Fair use rationale for Image:SatDisney.jpg[edit]

Image:SatDisney.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Other shows?[edit]

I was just wondering whether Marsupalami should be included in the list of cartoons that used to be on. I pretty sure this was on Saturday Disney. Tinkstar1985 12:12, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seven and Disney have a longer Business relationship.[edit]

Prior to this show and also during the early years of it, Channel Seven use to have the rights to Broadcast Disney films and television shows up to and including the Premier of Disney's Aladdin, the last Disney film to premiere on Seven(before the Disney Channel was brought to Foxtel). Prior to Saturday Disney and as I said, up to 1994/5, channel Seven broadcast "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Saturday or Sunday nights, which mostly consisted of a Disney film broadcast(Live action or Cartoon) or a Disney nature documentary(taken from "Wonderful World of Colour").

Saturday Disney was also created to take advantage of this arrangement and I think the historical relationship between Disney and Network Seven should be covered in a "History" section in this article.

Removed[edit]

The following information has been removed from the page but placed here for archival purposes. It is now common that previous hosts return through old footage. The section on the page shows actual returns to the show. <snip>removed trivia</snip> SatDis (talk) 04:49, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki software automatic archives previous versions. Secondly, this is triva and should have been removed. The talk page should not have been used to archive it. Spshu (talk) 13:48, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Spshu: Noted. Was just waiting to receive feedback on removing that information, thankyou for confirming. SatDis (talk) 04:57, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First air date[edit]

The article has always stated 20 January 1990 as the premiere date, but this article suggests it was 27 January. I've changed the date on the article as it was previously unsourced. http://televisionau.com/2010/01/1990-january-27-february-2.html SatDis (talk) 05:38, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

James Sherry has also twice stated the first episode was filmed on "Australia Day 1990", which would've been the 26th... and must have aired on the 27th. SatDis (talk) 05:46, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
