Yes, see WP:MOSBIO. Birth and death places, if known, should be mentioned in the body of the article, and can appear in the lead if relevant to notability, but not (my bolding) in the opening brackets alongside the birth and death dates. --Malerooster (talk) 16:19, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
