How do we know that Velji was a bapa? He could have been a dude. And similarly, the other bapa? Why assume that they were Varsani.

More seriously speaking, just because Kanbis severely overpopulate the UK, and have internet access and can write about Samatra, we should not assume that Samatra was founded by Kanbis... It could well have been founded by Rabari, who then moved on to greener pastures, because they are nomadic people,.
