Misidentified![edit]

The text refers to a wedding that took place in the church on November 19, 1939 between baseball player Joe DiMaggio and Hollywood film actress Dorothy Arnold (1917-1984). However, if you click on Dorothy Arnold you are taken to a link that is about Dorothy Harriet Arnold, (1884-1910), who was a perfume heiress, another person bearing the same name, and was deceased twenty-nine years beforehand. Building's history?[edit]

Per the church's Web page on the restoration campaign, the church was built in 1912. The page does not provide much more information on the original construction of the church. Perhaps someone from the restoration campaign could provide more details.Pegordon (talk) 05:58, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Building Information (architectural perspective)[edit]

I second that. It would also be nice if someone versed in architecture wrote something about the building's style, composition, material, structural elements, and added more photographs. Who designed it? Is it modeled after a church in Europe? Why put the clock tower on one side rather than the other? Is one tower the "Peter" and the other "Paul" tower? What's up with all the turrets: how many are there and is there a reason for the total number? There are interior photographs on the church's website, but there is nothing about the Latin inscriptions on the church's exterior or what they mean in English.
