Roof crash controversy[edit]

Let me remind people. Wikipedia is not a place of personal opinion, it is a place for fact. What John Summerfield did, whether you think he should have been punished or not, is something that cannot just be turned a blind eye to. It is an important event in the recent history of the school which is why it has a section on the article. Please do not add comments like an anonymous visitor recently did, such as "Mr Summerfield is a nice man and what he did should not be put on Wiki" etc. If you want to discuss the matter, please visit another website or discussion forum. I reccommend the Crosby Herald's website at CrosbyHerald.co.uk which has its own discussion board to talk about this and other subject matters. Revert of Roof Incident[edit]

Please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia. It is not a newspaper. The purpose of an encyclopaedia is not to report everything that ever happened, let alone sensationalise events. This article is about a school. Its history and foundation, its exam results, its modus operandi and educational philosophy may well be of encyclopaedic interest. For those insistant upon 60% of the article being about a single event in the school's history; I would suggest that the interested reader consult what Wikipedia is not. — Fly by Night (talk) 02:46, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
