"The Cocktail Shaker"?[edit]

Both the pages for this one and for SS Deutschland (1923) claim this nickname. Was it really given to both? Both list conversion to smaller engines to counteract it. I suspect that this story only applies to one of them, and I believe it was the 1900 version, not the 1923, but I need to check. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 21:41, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page should answer your question about the 1900 version. That was the reason for the ship's conversion to Viktoria Luise, since as a speed champion, there was too much vibration. SchuminWeb (Talk) 13:03, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics Mismatch?[edit]

It appears the statistics (length, beam, etc.) in the article and those in the right-hand summary column do not match. Which are correct? Yankeecook2 (talk) 15:45, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
