Categories[edit]

There's no Category:Whitewater kakaying but there is a category Category:Whitewater canoeing so I applied that, presumably a whitewater course is a whitewater course and canoes as well as kayaks use this. There might be a category for run-of-the-river hydroelectric facilities; this is not a dam, just a diversion, so not sure what to categorize that aspect of it as.....Skookum1 (talk) 16:00, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rutherford Creek floods[edit]

A few years ago, five maybe, there were huge floods down the Rutherford which wiped out the highway bridge and two (three?) vehicles as well as teh train tracks; Nairn Falls became a veritable Niagara; the floods were caused by a rain-out of the Pemberton Icecap (maybe the natural hazards in BC cat could be here); I don't know the date/year of the flood but it should be in the article.....Skookum1 (talk) 16:05, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
