Runner carried more than messages[edit]

I've read in various WW1 war journals that a Runner would sometimes carry more than just messages. Often they would be called upon to carry supplies (like food or ammunition) to front-line troops as well. --71.82.64.203 (talk) 03:04, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
