I created a Roger Lippman page.

A Question: When indicating that "During the riots that ensued, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and mob actions," you might specify the date and action to which you refer. For example, are you referencing criminal charges in June 1969 or later that year, such as the October National Action (a.k.a. "Days of Rage")? Historytrain (talk) 18:43, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Another Question: It is my impression that the weapons charges against the Lippmans were related to a separate event/action transpiring in California, rather than relating directly to Seattle TDA and/or the conspiracy trial-- correct? Historytrain (talk) 18:48, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your second question, the weapons charges were related to actions undertaken at the University of California campus, and not the SLF conspiracy charges. Is the wording vague? Thurstonhowell671 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:11, 19 May 2012 (UTC).[reply]

Reply: I think the way the article currently reads ["In April 1970, Lippman, along with members of the Seattle Liberation Front, were indicted on conspiracy charges. The complaint was filed April 16,[2] and Lippman was arrested in California for possession of deadly weapons along with his brother, David, on April 17.[3]"] clearly indicates the arrests of both Lippman brothers took place in California, but the syntax implies that the Seattle complaint resulted in the California arrest. During the SDS National Convention in 1969, is there any indication where Lippman was aligned in regards to staying with SDS or going with Weatherman? Were there other options? Fledglingrsrchr (talk) 16:31, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because he stayed with Weather after the transition, I would assume he either aligned himself with them or fell in line shortly after.Thurstonhowell671 (talk) 17:50, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Editing the header of this page[edit]

The header of this page, which reads:

> Roger Henry Lippman (born 1947)[1] is an American political activist. He was a member of the anti-Vietnam War groups Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Seattle collective of Weatherman. He is most commonly noted as a member of the Seattle Seven, who were accused of, and tried for, conspiracy charges in 1970.[2]

needs a clarification, but I don't see a way to edit the header. Can someone advise how this is done? 71.197.235.139 (talk) 17:52, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
