Needs specifics

In 2004, Rock the Vote also raised awareness about the problem of student voting rights, encouraging students to fight back against efforts to suppress their vote such as occurred at Prairie View A&M University, College of William and Mary, and many others. How did these universities try to suppress students votes? Im not saying that they didnt but its way to vague a statement to leave in. 24.63.5.255 04:02, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Will

Weasle words

"With CNN, Rock the Vote organized "America Rocks the Vote," a Democratic Presidential Candidates Forum at Faneuil Hall in Boston in November of 2003. This debate was considered by many to be the liveliest and most informative of the entire race"

I didn't edit that (don't know enough to say) but moved it from 2004 into the 2003 section.Ebonyskye 04:25, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Rock the Vote Ireland

It has come to my attention that there is an RTV Ireland. Are they related to the RTV here in the US? Arbiteroftruth 15:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Cleanup

There are multiple reasons for cleanup, so just a quick overview:

  • A lot of the article appears to be copy-pasted from the RTV website timeline with some minor formatting changes.
  • The part that was copy-pasted causes a mixed tense: parts are in past-tense, parts are in present-tense. Things that occurred in the past should be past-tense and not present-tense.
  • The timeline, if it is to remain, needs to be cleaned up and placed into its own section.
  • Other sections likely need to be added

I'm sure there's more, the article right now is just a giant block of text. — Xenoveritas 15:39, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
