Regarding the entry awaiting a citation for Hitchcock being a long-time fan of Dylan's, here are my emailed comments to a friend made immediately after of meeting Hitchcock on 16 Oct 2006. I have not edited the Hitchcock entry, as quotes directly from the person (primary source) don't count as secondary sources. "something to you to report to fegmaniax to correct the record. I had a number of CD covers for Robyn to sign, including my copy of the bootleg "A & M Demos 1993". He said of it, in ironic tones, "I like the way they say 'studio' for these. I recorded them in my living room. A friend of mine lent me a DAT, and it was about the time Bob Dylan released "Good As I Have Been To You" where he went into a studio and cut an album of covers in a day. I wondered what I would do in that situation, what songs I would play. So that's what I did that day, using the DAT."

"A&M Demos 1993" consists of covers of Dylan songs.

I suggest that almost a decade (1993 - 2002) in the context of a musician's career meets the criteria of "long-time"

I don't understand why you would delete this - it explains the album in the context of Hitchcock's career and influences, which forms part of his biographical and artistic story.—Preceding unsigned comment added by JJamerson (talkcontribs)

Suggest it cites some sources, in order to meet WP:MUSIC notability. --Oscarthecat 20:18, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hitchcock is "notable" - work with Soft Boys and REM for example, international tours. His subject matter here is notable - a recrateion of a very famous live gig (Dylan, 1966) which is also notable in Hitchcock's own career. There are no external sources needed, except linking to the key words "Dylan", "Royal Albert Hall" etc. Wiki says: "the general consensus on notability of albums is that if the musician or ensemble that made them is considered notable, then their albums have sufficient notability to have individual articles on Wikipedia." I think this qualifies. If not, it will leave an absurd hole in Hitchcock's coverage here.—Preceding unsigned comment added by JJamerson (talkcontribs)

Fair enough, I will withdraw the speedy notice, apologies for my hastiness. --Oscarthecat 20:34, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was just about the remove the speedy tag, but Oscar beat me to it. CSD A7 does not cover albums.--Fuhghettaboutit 20:36, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:RobynSings.jpg[edit]

Image:RobynSings.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
