Rob the Robot (TV series)Rob the Robot – parenthesis not needed 174.92.133.107 (talk) 20:19, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose: Until an ugly copy-paste intervention by the nominating IP editor a few minutes before filing this request, Rob the Robot was a redirect to R.O.B., which is an article about a different topic. That's not the right way to accomplish a page move. We need to determine whether there is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the term "Rob the Robot" and, if so, which one it is. The nominator has not provided any evidence for that study. Checking page views, perhaps surprisingly the R.O.B. article has been viewed 33,305 times in the last 90 days, versus only 412 for Rob the Robot (TV series) – a ratio exceeding 80:1. There are also very few articles that link to the Rob the Robot (TV series) article, and I see no sign that the popularity of R.O.B. is accidental. I'm having a hard time understanding why R.O.B. is so popular and the TV series is so unpopular, but R.O.B. may legitimately be the primary topic for the phrase "Rob the Robot". The TV series doesn't seem popular. Perhaps Rob the Robot should be a disambiguation page, but I don't think it should be the article about the TV series. There is also a third topic for the term, i.e., ROB 64. —BarrelProof (talk) 02:04, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • oppose nominator has not indicated why this is the primary topic -- 65.94.40.137 (talk) 03:35, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No evidence of primary topic. A google search of "Rob the Robot"] shows significantly more results for that video game accessory. Zzyzx11 (talk) 08:21, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
