Regarding this section:

"Despite that, there is erroneous signage at that intersection and at the eastern end of the Henderson Bridge which points to Route 152 continuing down Newman Avenue and Broadway in East Providence. It is unclear whether Route 152 ever extended that way and, if it did, what its terminus may have been."

IIRC, the "little red bridge" ends at North Broadway at EP. Then, where North Broadway becomes Broadway near the intersection with Taunton and Waterman Aves. (US 44), which I like to call the "little Spaghetti Junction, there is a slight tunnel that is parallel with Broadway. This tunnel ends at the Broadway/Leonard Ave. intersection. This tunnel can clearly be seen through Google Maps (which erroneously calls the Henderson Bridge the "Seekonk River Crossing").

My belief is that Rte. 152 ends around the Broadway/Leonard Ave. intersection. If this is true, then Rte. 152 would continue to follow Newman Ave., from the Newman Ave./Pawtucket Ave. intersection (which normally most maps would show Rte. 152 ending at US 1A/RI Rte. 114) all the way to the end at the intersection with Greenwood Ave. and North Broadway. Then, Rte. 152 would follow North Broadway all the way to the area where Broadway meets North Broadway (shared with McCausland Ave.) and follow the middle alignment, which is where the tunnel begins. Since the tunnel goes under US 44, this would mean that Rte. 152 goes under US 44. Thus, in this case, the Broadway/Leonard Ave. intersection (where North Broadway ends) or even the Broadway/Grosvenor Ave. intersection abt. 100-150 ft. after the Broadway/Leonard Ave. intersection is the endpoint of Rte. 152.

I think part of it is because of the signage, but also because I have been told from many people (including my own parents) that this is the way that Rte. 152 goes. Whether this is true or not I'm sure. Hope I'm contributing to this discussion.
