My impetus for introducing this article was that the Turtle Island Quartet has a longstanding Wikipedia article, and I regard this band in the same category. The primary criterium given for deletion (that the band is "local") is no longer the case. The band plays internationally and has won several articles in national publications, including a cover story in Strings Magazine.
