FIU Bridge Notable?[edit]

We don't know the details of the collapse and what role, if any, ABC played in the incident. I think that, until more details come out, the project isn't really notable enough to include on this page. 23.25.224.97 (talk) 16:44, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The New York Times just had an article responding to all those concerns. FIU was home to The Accelerated Bridge Construction University Transportation Center, and they were using this bridge as a showcase of ABC. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/17/us/florida-international-university-bridge.html As for notable -- it's been on the front page or equivalent of almost every WP:RS in the country, which is by definition what it takes on Wikipedia to be notable. --Nbauman (talk) 02:45, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The fact still remains that a root cause has yet to be determined and published. All that is being reported about the root cause of the collapse at present is conjecture. A report needs to come out from the investigating agency (Probably the National Transportation Safety Board) citing the root cause of the collapse.Spoonlesscorey (talk) 13:06, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
