Animal Fights[edit]

Ramar had some great animal fights. I remember pig versus black panther (pig won) and tiger versus a water buffalo (bufalo won).50.80.227.31 (talk) 04:35, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stock Footage[edit]

A local TV station in Philadelphia showed the Ramar of the Jungle episodes as part of their afternoon kid's shows. I remember the 'jungle' they traveled through, with periodic twists of the trail across clearings or veldts where scenes of animals of all sorts (including some stampedes, iirc) were inserted. Even to my tweenage eyes they were footage from a different movie or show.

Sally Starr[edit]

Philadelphia kids' show hostess Sally Starr showed the Ramar episodes as either part of "Popeye Theatre" or the followup, "Starr Theatre."
