Keep! I think that there are people around the world who find it interesting that there are rowing competitions in remote countries. This article is about one of the rowing clubs of the Faroe Islands. Rowing is the national sport of the Faroe Islands. This club has won 11 championships since it was founded in 1985 with the boat Jarnbardur in the category "Women 6-mannafør" and the boat Knørrur has won the Faroese championship four times in the category "Men 8-mannafør". So I think this is a notable rowing club of the Faroe Islands. I did't even got a chance to write this article over a few days. Just a few minutes after I started it there came this "speedy deletion tag". I did plan to go to sleep as the time is past midnight, but now I had to stay up for a few more hours and trying to improve this article and to make it more "notable". I hope I managed to do that. Oh, yes, and I forgot to mention, that the Faroese rower Katrin Olsen has earlier been a member of Róðrarfelagið Knørrur and that she won the Faroese Championship (Føroyameistari also called FM) two times with the boat Jarnbardur, it was in 1997 and 1999. It is mentioned in the German and Faroese article about her. She participated at the Summer Olympics for Denmark together with Juliane Rasmussen in a lightweight double sculler. I have mentioned that in the article now. I don't know if it helps or not.EileenSanda (talk) 02:18, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
